What is French Kiss Coma? French Kiss Coma is Andrew Ochsner, Ian McDonald and Nevin Cahill. We’re a in your face loud psychedelic rock band, at least that’s what we are right now. We are very much into loud noisy guitars but we also have a passion for a good rock song in there too. Every member of FKC has played in several bands over the years. (No Idea, Gavan Daly Band, The Apes, The Folly and The Ballad of Mops Hacker.) Although we all loved the previous bands we’ve played in, we all agree that Coma is the most satisfying and enjoyable band yet. We feel this band will last a long time because we all want the same things. We’re ready to record our first two records after only being together for a year. We are currently trying to book a national tour. FKC formed in Bluffton, South Carolina where Ian and Nevin are both from. Andrew moved there from Pensacola, Florida two years ago. About a year and a half ago Ian was living in Atlanta, Georgia and because he’s such a badass he had to go to rehab and decided to move back home to Bluffton. He’s much better now. Nevin moved back after living in Charlotte, North Carolina for a couple of years. Ian and Andrew met at school and Nevin and Ian worked together. We all got together to jam one afternoon and it was love at first site. we liked what we were hearing and especially liked what each other were into musically. After a year we decided to move to Charleston, South Carolina as a band. We really like this band and we want it to flourish. We think moving together was the right idea. We’re ready for anything so I hope you’re ready for us. FRENCH KISS COMA BABY!
